The Circus is coming back to Abingdon. On Saturday 5 December 2026, The Take That Experience return to The Northcourt LIVE with a show inspired by the spectacle, choreography, costumes and huge singalong moments of Take That’s arena years.
A tribute built for The Circus
The Take That Experience are one of the UK’s leading Take That tribute acts, recreating the harmonies, vocals and live production that helped make Take That one of Britain’s biggest pop bands.
For this return to The Northcourt LIVE, the focus is firmly on that big-show feeling. Expect a night drawing on the excitement of The Circus era and Take That’s spectacular live tours, brought into the much closer surroundings of our Abingdon venue.
Pray, Shine, Patience and the songs everyone knows
The set celebrates the catalogue that has filled arenas for decades, including Pray, Back For Good, Relight My Fire, Shine, Patience, Rule The World, Never Forget and Greatest Day, alongside more favourites from across the band’s career.
It works whether you followed Take That through the original 1990s years, came back for the reunion era, or simply want a Saturday night where practically every chorus is familiar.
From Wantage to The Northcourt LIVE
The Take That Experience have a 15-year history with audiences in Wantage. They spent 10 years appearing at Shush, followed by several annual appearances at Live & Local. Paul Robins Promotions then promoted the band at Delaneys in Wantage before moving the show to The Northcourt LIVE in Abingdon.

The show also forms part of Paul Robins Promotions’ We Rock Christmas programme. December at The Northcourt LIVE has become about getting people together before Christmas for proper live shows rather than another routine night out, and The Take That Experience fits that perfectly.
The Take That Experience in Abingdon
The Take That Experience play The Northcourt LIVE, Northcourt Road, Abingdon, Oxfordshire OX14 1PL on Saturday 5 December 2026. Doors open at 7:30 PM and the band is scheduled from 8:30 PM.
The Northcourt LIVE is primarily a standing venue, so this is very much a get-up, sing-along and enjoy-the-show kind of night. Limited seating may be available on a first come, first served basis.
