Every artist is chosen carefully. Videos, showreels and social media can introduce a band, but they do not tell the whole story. Wherever possible, we see bands perform live before booking them, because musicianship is only part of what makes a great show. Stage presence, professionalism, reliability and the ability to connect with an audience matter just as much.

Steve is part of #WeAreTheRoadCrew, the team working before doors open, throughout the performance and after the audience has gone home. The crew, production team, artists and promoter all shape the experience the audience sees.

 

SUPPORTING LOCAL ARTISTS

Paul Robins Promotions also creates opportunities for selected local artists through LIVE and LOCAL. Local support slots are chosen with the same care as every other booking: the artist must suit the bill, be ready for the stage and be willing to work as part of the wider event.

 

HOW NEW ARTISTS SHOULD APPROACH PAUL ROBINS PROMOTIONS

If you would like to be considered, send a clear introduction with the artist or band name, the music you perform, where you are based, links to your website and social pages, recent live footage, previous venues and a realistic fee. Please also include upcoming public dates where we can see you perform live.

 

We receive many approaches, so a concise, professional message is far more useful than a generic mailing list pitch. We cannot promise a booking or reply to every submission, but suitable artists are kept in mind when the right bill becomes available.
