Hi-On Maiden: Somewhere In Time Revisited at The Northcourt LIVE

Some bands become more than another date in the diary. Hi-On Maiden have been part of the Paul Robins Promotions story from the early days, and their return to The Northcourt LIVE on Friday 16 October 2026 brings several milestones together in one very special night.
Somewhere In Time — 40 years on
Hi-On Maiden, the officially endorsed Iron Maiden tribute band, return with Somewhere In Time Revisited. The show celebrates the 40th anniversary of Iron Maiden’s 1986 album, with the complete record performed live for the first time in five years.
That means Caught Somewhere In Time, Wasted Years, Heaven Can Wait, Stranger In A Strange Land, Deja-Vu and Alexander The Great as part of the album performance, followed by a second set packed with Iron Maiden classics.
25 years of Tribute Eddie
The night also marks 25 years of Tribute Eddie, with John “Eddie” Oakley celebrating a remarkable milestone portraying Iron Maiden’s legendary mascot. For Maiden fans, this is much more than a standard greatest-hits tribute night.
From Market Square Heroes to Abingdon
Our relationship with Hi-On Maiden did not begin with a booking at The Northcourt LIVE. It goes back to Paul’s Market Square Heroes days, when that project was working around Wrexham’s Rock The Park and Classic Rock Tours’ Legends Of Rock in Great Yarmouth. Hi-On Maiden were part of that world long before Paul Robins Promotions had its current home in Abingdon.
When Paul began bringing tribute shows into the local area, Hi-On Maiden were the first band he brought here. That makes their story part of the foundations of Paul Robins Promotions rather than simply another act on the calendar.
The Delaneys show nobody forgot
One of the early local shows was at Delaneys in Wantage in freezing temperatures because the venue could not afford to run the heating. Hi-On Maiden still played. They never moaned, never made it a problem and supported Paul completely. That loyalty has never been forgotten, and the band have continued to support him and his shows ever since.
The first sell-out
Their second year in Abingdon became a landmark night: Hi-On Maiden sold out and gave Paul Robins Promotions its first sell-out show. The relationship kept growing, and their Christmas show at The Northcourt LIVE in December 2025 sold out again.
So when Hi-On Maiden return on 16 October 2026, this is not just another Iron Maiden tribute date. It is another chapter in a relationship that runs from Market Square Heroes, Rock The Park and Legends Of Rock through Wantage and into Abingdon. See the October event and official tickets.
Behind the kit is Joe Lazarus, nephew of Iron Maiden founder and bassist Steve Harris. Joe has a long history with Hi-On Maiden, adding another genuine connection to the band they celebrate.
